Fighting to end racism in housing | Shelter

This video explores the threat black people face when considering homelessness. The man in the video was left as an undocumented migrant and talks about his struggle when trying to find accommodation, due to lack of documentation. In fact, black-led households are three times more likely to experience homelessness compared to white households. The video also surfaces how black-led households are 12 times more likely to live in temporary accommodation. The group formed hopes to spread awareness of this situation and hopes to eliminate discrimination in the housing process. This short film acts in a pro social behaviour and aims to help people by raising awareness of this subject.
