WEBSITE FEATURES

I have three different working pages on my blog, I have a home page, fashion page but also an article page linked. On each page, by clicking on the 'WHERE STYLE REACHES NEW HEIGHTS' you will be transported back to the home page, making the website clearer and easier to access. 

Here, I have added an archived section including the first 2 editions of my magazine, along with other mock ups I have produced to strengthen my brand identity/image including two male models to further diversify my model range. 

Here is  my 30 second clips which includes shots of a "Day in the life at Paris fashion week". I decided to focus on this as after carrying out research, it is a current trend in the social media/fashion industry and these videos typically gain the most views/likes online. This way my magazine is keeping up with current industry trends, reaching and maintaining my desired target audience. 

Here is my second video. This links into the 'CHANCE TO WIN' feature on the home page of my hauteur archive Page, encouraging audience participation to share their day in the lives in order to win a package of trending products. 

I have also added this interactive feature which encourages audience interaction. Here I am encouraging my audience to share their day in the life for a possible feature on the website. Additionally, social media links are added to encourage cross platform interaction and enhance brand image.

By clicking on the instagram icon, you will be transferred to the authentic HAUTEUR instagram. Active audiences will be able to follow and interact with hauteur through platforms/ cross-media convergence.

This lesson I added an outfit breakdown to my website- I am going to make it so that you can click on purchase and it will take you to the product. 

Additionally, I experimented with different colour palettes for one of the pages on my website. I have decided the third down is the best and matches my black and white, minimalistic colour scheme.

I have added a subscriber pop up as you first access the website. This is an interactive element that follows website conventions. 

NEA constructive criticism feedback and plan of action

 

Plan of action:

Through my constructive advice from both my teacher and my peers I have highlighted what I need to do in the next coming weeks in order to improve and heighten my work. I will aim to complete the following:

Magazine:

1- I need to play around with fonts and insure that all the fonts are the same on my front covers. This should make the covers a lot cleaner and easier on the eye.

2- I am going to also experiment with different colours especially on my second cover as I am unsure the pink tone is fully effective. 

3- I am going to remove the shadow from the second cover and also get rid of the line on the right hand side of my first cover. 

4- I need to add barcodes to each cover to ensure I am ticking off all the conventions. 

5- For my content pages- I need to work on proportions and ensure everything is lined up correctly.

Website:

1- After Mr Escotts feedback, I need to change the first page of pictures as they clash in context and overall aesthetic. This will require me to shoot more content over the half term. 

2- I am going to shoot more content to include more content to the website.
